Linguaglossa, accogliente e vivace centro turistico del versante nord dell’Etna, ospita un “museo a cielo aperto” di cui fanno parte circa 50 murales realizzati dagli anni ’90 ad oggi da 24 artisti, tra cui Salvatore Caramagno, Franco Mora, Carmen Crisafulli, Francesco Scilafa, Benedetto Poma e Poki.
Questa collezione pubblica impreziosisce in maniera unica le viuzze che si diramano dalla via principale fino al cuore del centro storico e raccoglie opere che, con differenti linguaggi artistici, colgono l’essenza del vulcano e il folklore delle genti dell’Etna.

TOUR GUIDATI
Il percorso è visitabile autonomamente e in maniera gratuita utilizzando la mappa di IntrArt scaricabile QUI o disponibile in formato cartaceo presso la Pro Loco, il Museo “Messina-Incorpora”, gli uffici comunali e numerose attività alberghiere e commerciali della città. Seguendo il percorso si potranno ammirare le opere e, grazie al QR Code applicato vicino ad ognuna, conoscerne tutte le informazioni.

Partenza: Via Marconi 2- angolo Via Roma
Durata: circa 2 ore
Orari: sono previsti due orari, la mattina alle ore 10.00 o il pomeriggio alle ore 16.30
TOUR “Il gusto della Street Art”
Il tour prevede la possibilità di abbinare alla visita guidata dei murales anche una pausa enogastronomica per assaporare i prodotti tipici del territorio.
A seconda delle preferenze del gruppo si potrà scegliere di:
- concludere il tour con pranzo/cena presso trattoria
- concludere il tour con degustazione presso enoteca
- fare una pausa lungo il percorso per una degustazione di dolci tipici

INTRART - VISIT THE OPEN AIR MUSEUM OF LINGUAGLOSSA
Linguaglossa, a welcoming and lively touristic town situated on the Northern side of Mount Etna, hosts a little “open air museum” which includes more than 50 masterpieces painted by 24 artists, including Salvatore Caramagno, Franco Mora, Carmen Crisafulli, Francesco Scilafa, Benedetto Poma e Poki. Linguaglossa “Open air museum” dates back to the 90s and it is continuously expanding, with some latest works created in 2017.
This public collection enriches the little streets that spread out from the main road to the heart of the old town. The murals, with different art languages, capture the essence of the volcano and the cultural traditions of the people living at the foot of Mount Etna.
FREE TOUR
The route can be visited independently and free by using the IntrArt map downloadable HERE or available on printed version at the Pro Loco, at the museum "Messina- Incorpora", in the city hall and in the numerous hotels and business activities in town. Following the route, visitors will be able to admire the works and, thanks to the QR Code applied next to each of them, discover all the information about it.

Timetables: expected departure times two per day, at 10 am and/or at 4.30 pm
TOUR “The taste of the Street Art”
The tour includes the possibility of combining the guided tour of the murals with a local wine and food tasting.
Depending on group preferences, you can choose to:
- finish the tour with lunch/dinner at the tavern
- finish the tour with wine tasting
- take a break along the path for a tasting of some typical sweets
